Job description

Based on the continuous growth of the Aftermarket service business of the Gas & Process Division in Middle East and North Africa it was decided to split the administration and planning function and employ a dedicated Service Planner.In this role you will be responsible for the entire planning of the deployments for all field service engineers. You will also work in closed cooperation with the service administrator and support her in the day to day business or as backup during vacation.The main responsibilities and tasks including, but are not limited to:-

Organize the timely planning of service job assignments and ensure that the deployments are planned according to customer requirements
- Administer the deployments for the field service engineers (for example: air tickets, accommodation, insurance, visa and gate pass requirements) and submit the documents to the customer
- Coordinate proactive with the aftermarket sales engineers regarding the planning of upcoming job assignments
- Coordinate with the customers regarding changes in deployment schedules
- Liaise and coordinate with the product companies regarding service job requests, technical support and training opportunities
- Establish and maintain an intensive communication network with the product companies and customer centers globally
- Monitor the service work in progress and update the customer on the progress of deployments- Maintain, organize and archive the time sheets and encode all hours in the ERP system
- Maintain and archive the field service reports and submit them to product companies and customers
- Collaborate with the field service engineers for workshop tools and personal protective equipment and ensure that all purchases are encoded in the ERP system
- Update the employment schedule and ensure that all field service engineers are informed about their deployments on time to safeguard an accurate preparation

Experience requirements

Experience in scheduling of people or processes or logistic background
Experience with service operations is of advantage
Good verbal and written communication skills
Strong organizational skills

Knowledge

Familiar with Microsoft Office products, particular with Word and Excel
Knowledge with ERP systems like Scala
Good command of English, both written and oral

Educational requirements

High school diploma, administration/marketing degree or BBA

Personality requirements

Able to work independently and as a team player
Self-motivated, self-confident and dynamic person
Excellent interpersonal skills
Highly flexible and willing to adapt working time to business requirements
