Purpose
The purpose of this role is to perform routine and non-routine tasks during maintenance inputs of A,C and unscheduled maintenance inputs as directed by the Licensed Engineer and Hangar Supervisor or the Production Controller.

Main Responsibilities

    Perform routine and non-routine maintenance tasks on ABY and 3rd party aircrafts during maintenance inputs to the standards required by both ABY and current legislation
    Ensure that they are fully conversant with the tasks allocated to them and competent to perform.
    Ensure strict adherence to all pertinent safety precautions as published in manufacturer manuals and other publications.
    Ensure that Licensed Engineer and Hangar Supervisor are kept fully advised of any impending service disruptions or problems.
    Ensure that all work meets the standards required of ABY and regulatory authorities.
    Ensure that replacement parts and components are done is a professional manners and all the required blanking of ports and covering the exposed areas are covered and meets a high standard of quality.
    To make sure that components are physically checked and inspected prior to fitment to aircraft or component and meet the requirements of the AMM, IPC or any other approved documentation
    Ensure that removed components are correctly handled, labeled and blanked.
    Maintains a clean and safe working environment
    Completes all associated documentation prior the end of shift
    Reports immediately any maintenance error to immediate supervision.
    Comply fully with any maintenance error review board
    Able to work under harsh conditions and shift work whilst maintaining HF awareness

Desired Profile

    Diploma in Aircraft Maintenance
    Minimum 2 years experience in Aircraft Maintenance fields
    Good English communication skills
    Age between 23-45 years
    A pro-active and interactive attitude with the flexibility required for working within a small organization.
    Physically fit and has the ability to travel regularly and at short notice
