Design engineers work to develop product sketches, drafts and designs. They coordinate with various departments such as marketing, sales, production, research and development.

Duties and Responsibilities:

    Coordinate and track progress across the multiple cost optimization initiatives, identifying blocking points, risks and impediments, and working with initiative owners to define appropriate action plans.
    Partner with Finance to establish targets and implement efficient monitoring and control tools to track progress.
    Leverage best practices and ensure that regional cost optimization efforts are aligned with global and cross-divisional initiatives.
    Ensure that critical risks and issues are escalated quickly and accurately to senior management.
