The Walt Disney Company is again expanding and seeking a Assistant Key Account Manager to further grow the Disney, Marvel and Lucas portfolio’s across the lower Gulf focusing on the key retailers. You will be responsible for the relationships between Disney and the retailers to secure the appropriate sku portfolio, ensuring the retailers have the best in class products on offer to the customer.

The Role

Reporting to the Sales Manager UAE & Lower Gulf, you will be responsible for driving the product sku range, building relationships and maximizing the retail landscape across the lower Gulf region’s retailers. You will network and identify new business opportunity along the way and enhance the brand presence with your customers through organising new promotions, analysing results and sharing best practise on a regular bases. You will also engage on a daily bases with the category managers and the Retail Development Manager to ensure the business plan and strategy is working in parallel and work as part of the team on all retail campaigns. Finally the successful candidate will have exceptional customer service skills and be able to multi-task in a fast paced environment without the key relationships being compromised. In addition exceeding targets and ensuring the customer is engaged with the products on offer will make this new role a success.

The Person

The ideal candidate for this role will have the following:

    Business degree
    Gained a minimum of 3-4 years experience in retail Key Accounts within a multinational based in the Middle East.
    Ability to adjust to the market quickly and be resourceful in his/her approach.
    Organised, able to work under pressure and prioritise workload. 
    Track record in negotiating and presenting to key decision makers with confidence
    Excellent English language skills & Arabic speaking is highly regarded
