Job description:

The Aftermarket business of the Gas & Process division in the Middle East and North Africa region has a high potential for further growth.To capitalize on our large machine population we are seeking for a qualified and experienced Aftermarket Sales Engineer / Consultant.In this role you will be directly responsible for the development of the Gas & Process Aftermarket business in the United Arab Emirates, Oman and Yemen.Besides the expectation to maximize the sales of spare parts and service embracing the portfolio of four product companies, the challenge of this role is to be as well a consultant for the provision of complete Aftermarket solutions.Therefore it is expected that you work closely and intensive with your customer base and the associated product company to provide such products as:complete unit overhauls / upgrades or revamping / efficiency or reliability gain / service contractsThe job duties include further:- Mapping of machine population and service activities- Assessment of customer base and market analysis- Increase of customer shares and satisfaction- Safeguarding of customer service at the expected level- Achievement of divisional ambitions and targets- Cooperation with product company agents, if in place- Promotion of Gas & Process Aftermarket products- Projection of a professional and customer oriented image- Effectively promote our core objective "First in Mind—First in Choice®"

Experience requirements:

Solid aftermarket sales experience, preferable in the oil & gas or petrochemical industryProven track record of delivering profitable sales resultsGood verbal and written communication skillsStrong planning and organizational skillsProven business analyzes abilityGood standard of presentation skills

Knowledge:

Minimum 3 to 5 years proven sales experience with rotating equipment, preferable with turbo machineryKnowledge about process technology or contractual marketing would be of advantageFamiliar with Microsoft Office products, particular with Word, Excel and Power PointCompletely fluent in English, able to communicate in Arabic is desirableBasic knowledge of French language would be appreciated

Educational requirements:

Mechanical, electrical/electronic or instrumentation and controls degreeRelevant technical knowledge / trade qualifications
