The Company

Our client a well known Institution active within the Education Sector in the Middle East is searching for a UAE National to join their diverse and dynamic team.

Based in Abu Dhabi as an Accountant you will support the Chief Accountant and Finance Manager via performance of a variety of accounting duties involving the maintenance of financial records and ensuring all accounting tasks relating to accounts receivables and revenue adhere to various accounting systems and procedures. Ensure timely collection of receivables and assist in preparation of monthly financial reports.

The Role

    Generating invoices for the Institution

    Administer collections and prepare bank deposits.

    Enter billings, collections and adjustments in the ERP.

    Maintain and up-to-date billing system, accounts receivable customer files and records.

    Maintain records of all revenue sources.

    Prepare timely reconciliation and confirmation of individual receivable accounts and monitor delayed/ or non-payments, identify discrepancies and resolve discrepancies, and prepare the monthly aging report

    Investigate and resolve customer queries.

    Organize an effective collection system and initiate collecting efforts by contacting individual customers via phone, email, mail or in person.

    Analyze financial information and prepare financial reports and statements on all revenue sources.

    Process credit card payments and monthly credit card reconciliation and pass corresponding entries in the system.

    Assist in general ledger accounts reconciliation and in the preparation of month-end financial reports.

    Carry out billing, collection and reporting activities according to specific deadlines

The Person

Qualifications

Bachelors Degree in Accounting or a related degree

3-5 years related experience

Solid Accountancy Skills

Computer Skills

ERP Banner/Oracle

MS Word, Excel, Access, Powerpoint

Salary
