Job Title: Budget Analyst
Location: Abu Dhabi
The Company
Our client a well known Institution active within the Education Sector in the Middle East is searching for a Budget Analyst to join their diverse and dynamic team.
Based in Abu Dhabi you will support the Budget Manager through various activities such as coordination of the Budget and Financial Reporting department ensuring compliance with various rules and guidelines established by the Institution.
The Role
Support the Budget Manager in coordinating and compiling the annual budget.
Monitor budget variance status of departments and assist the department managers/chairs with their budget reports.
Prepare period and multi-year financial projections.
Assist budget owners with preparation of budgets and train them, if required.
Process budget transfers in adherence with budget transfer guidelines
Assist in preparing periodic and ad-hoc financial reports using the Cognos Reporting tool.
Handle the correspondences with the Government Funding agencies and other concerns.
Assist with HR Position control & reporting
Special Projects
Assist the functional lead in implementing remaining modules of Banner ERP solution.
Perform related duties or undertake other special projects as and when assigned by the Budget manager.

Qualifications
Bachelors Degree in Accounting
3-5 years related experience
Computer Skills
ERP Banner / Oracle
MS Word, Excel, Access, Powerpoint
Salary
AED 26,000 - 29,000
