Alfaisal University is a private non-profit research university for both men and women that was founded by the highly reputed King Faisal Foundation in 2003. The University began instruction in 2008 offering strong undergraduate and graduate programs in Business, Engineering, Medicine, and Life Sciences. With a culturally diverse student population and internationally distinguished faculty, Alfaisal University aspires to be a world class institution. Situated in the austere grounds of the Late King Faisal Palace, the University is located at the heart of Riyadh, a center of industry, commerce, research, and an ever growing student population. Alfaisal University is currently seeking to fill the following vacancy for Saudi national fluent in English language: The Accreditation Officer is responsible for assisting the Director for Accreditation & Quality Assurance in providing general accreditation requirements in order conduct daily tasks and administrative support. He is also part of the staff of the center of Quality Assurance. He serves as a coordinator with MoHE and NCAAA.

Essential Responsibilities but not limited to:

i)                    Advise School staff on expectations of accreditation bodies
ii)                   Confirm timeline for each reaccreditation exercise and keep senior colleagues on track to meet the deadlines.
iii)                 Source appropriate colleagues to input to reaccreditation exercise, and confirm nature and timing of input
iv)                 Liaise with Director of Administration to invite institutional representatives to be present for the accreditation visit.
v)                  Draft documents and gain agreement on key supporting documents that will provided during accreditation visit
vi)                 Seek comments within the School on final documents.
vii)               Presentation of progress to be made at School Executive meetings and at Advisory Board meetings.
viii)              Submit documents for approval, on behalf of the University, by Program and Partnerships Approval Committee prior to final submission to accreditation body

Required Qualities:
 
        Ability rapidly to gain understanding of accreditation bodies and assessment requirements
        Awareness of commercial sensitivity and to be willing to keep information about the university confidential
        Ability to communicate and motivate others to work to set schedule
        Capacity for independent working as well as being enthusiastic about contributing as an active member of the team
        Adaptable and able to deal positively with changing circumstances
        Excellent tact and diplomacy skills
        Analytical and research skills
        Understand collaborative skills requirements to gather information required
        Committed to producing high quality work

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in appropriate field;
• 2 - 4 years of related and relevant experience, preferably in an academic environment.
