The Company

My client, a world leading listed manufacturing business have engaged Mackenzie Jones exclusively to source candidates for the position of Chief Financial Officer. This role will have full functional and strategic over site of their UAE operations.

The Role

The succesful candidate will develop, together with Executive team, short and mid-term business strategy. Participate in and contribute to main management decisions and have specific responsibility for controlling, accounting, Information Systems, internal financial controls and supporting the development of business processes.



    Contribute to the creation of a workable business strategy, an effective performance plan and consistent and stretching budgets
    Make a major contribution to the maximisation of profitability through the creation of transparency in business data (focusing on profitable products, customers and production lines).
    Initiate and assist with the realisation of performance improvements in close co-operation with Executive Committee colleagues.
    Ensure accounts meet all necessary regulatory authority standards
    Support managers with timely, accurate, transparent and easy to use management information through the effective use of IT systems
    Develop, introduce and assure internal control systems according to external and internal standards to protect the financial integrity of my client as a business unit
    Develop and maintain reliable and cost efficient Information systems

Quantitative

    Improve financial performance as measured in profit terms
    Support attainment of key business ratios through effective financial analysis
    Support investments adding value through effective financial analysis

Qualitative

    Accounting systems to meet required external standards
    Management reporting systems to meet internal standards and be easy to use and understand
    Be recognised as a significant contributor to the Executive team and company performance.

The Person

Min Qualifications

    Graduate.
    CMA or CFA or CPA or ACCA or Equivalent Degree.

Min Experience

    10 years experience in various aspects of Finance and 5+ years of experience in a senior management/director equivalent in the Finance Department.

Job-Specific Skills

    Sound financial skills in all areas (accounting, internal control and management control) - professional accounting qualification essential
    Experience and ‘feeling’ to change and build new teams
    Able to communicate simply to managers the financial needs of the business
    Good knowledge of business processes

Salary
AED 50,000 - 55,000
