Job Title: Finance Director

The Company

My client, a globally renowned firm operating in the shipping/logistics sector has an urgent requirement for a skilled Finance Director with significant UAE exposure and experience within western MNCs to join their flourishing business.

The Role

The major responsibilities will include:

    Accurate financial reporting of the Region’s and countries results
    Designing and executing the financial planning – annual budget, annual strategy plan and quarterly forecasts for the Region
    Responsible for the regional business control activities, leading to in depth understanding of the underlying reasons for the financial performance, well founded budgets and forecasts, correct investment decisions (Capex and M&A)
    Provide leadership to ensure the business meets or exceeds annual profit budgets using strategic growth plans and value based management principles and other KPIs that support the approach detailed in the agreed business plan and strategy in order to create Shareholder Value.

The Person

Functional requirements

    Degree in business management or equivalent gained by experience
    In preference chartered/registered (management) accountant

Key skills

    10 years of experience
    Minimum of 3-4 years field experience in a local country/business unit
    Strong Financial skills and experience
    Experience also in other areas than Finance & Administration (General Management, Sales, Commercial or Operations) would be a benefit
    Good cross functional knowledge
    International business experience
    Fluent English language skills (other languages a benefit)

Salary
AED 50,000 - 55,000
