Job Title: Project Manager - Datawarehouse & Business Intelli

Location: U.A.E,Dubai

Job purpose

The role of the Project Manager is to plan, execute, track and implement projects within the base lined timeframe, budget and scope parameters, including overseeing the quality and compliance controls throughout the project life-cycle. Responsibility includes the technical ownership of production system and their operating environments including maintenance and enhancements. Manage & maintain availability of systems as per agreement defined in SLA for each business unit.
Key result areas

    Deliver projects to meet organisational objectives and project success criteria.
    Guide stakeholders in envisioning and scoping projects, perform project planning, task sequencing and define team structure, roles and responsibilities.
    Define and document the scope of project and enhancement activities.
    Document, plan and estimate team project and maintenance activities for task assignment, reporting and scheduling.
    Perform routine project management activities; planning, scheduling, tracking and reporting - status, quality, risk.
    Co-ordinate team resources to complete assigned tasks within project targets.
    Ensure project stakeholder concerns are addressed by relevant teams and/or 3rd party representatives.
    Asses training needs and select training tools for team members.
    Assist in preparation of project and annual budget planning.
    Provide general administrative support to the team, including, meetings, knowledge transfer and activity reporting.
    Ensure project and system documentation is prepared and updated as required.
    Ensure capacity planning is performed regularly to ensure adequate system resources are available to support changing demands.
    Provides technical guidance, information and instruction to other IT staff requiring broader subject knowledge.
    Ensure systems (hardware and software) in all environments meet security baseline standards.
    Interact with the senior business managers, vendors, consultants, software houses and internal mindscape departments (on site & off shore) in order to implement business solutions
    Responsible for aligning IT strategy with business strategies


Knowledge, skills & experience

    10+ years of experience in the IT field (application services) out of which at least 2-3 years in team and project management (including Vendor based & in-house developed projects/applications)
    Expert knowledge of Informatica tool, MSSQL services & PL/SQL  is a must
    Experience in support of production systems
    Business and technical experience in the financial services domain.
    BSc in Computer science is preferred
    Previous exposure to Central bank and/or Credit risk bureau requirements is a plus
    Strong organisational and presentation capability.
    Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
