Job Responsibilities:    

    Develop highly professional standards and procedures for production of student events aligned with the image and reputation of AUST.
    Coordinate student activities to ensure delivery of high standards of quality services.
    Interact with diverse individuals and groups, including: faculty, staff, and students at AUST; visiting VIPs; community members; etc.
    Prepare analysis, reports, and assess opportunities to make recommendations for improving the services to internal and external stakeholders.
    Provide leadership and direction in performance of the details of event production, with emphasis on high standards for customer relations, attention to detail, protocol, and etiquette, as well as ensure implementation of events objectives in compliance with university policies and procedures.
    Effectively manage human resources by taking measures to recruit and motivate events team.

Job Requirements:    

    Bachelor’s degree in a related degree .
    Have a minimum of three years of experience in events management preferably in a university setting.

Skills Required:    

    Excellent written and oral communication skills in Arabic and English.
    Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
    Excellent communication, analytical, negotiation, organizational and MS-Office skills.
    Ability to resolve conflicts and perform under pressure.
    Flexibility in working hours and be able to work in the evening and on weekends.
    Sharp individual with attention to detail.
    Valid UAE driving license.
