ECMIT is a leading English-medium institution of higher learning that offers credit based associate of science degree programs in Business and Information Technology. The College is situated in the heart of Dubai, a modern beautiful city known for its thriving cultural, recreational and world class socio-economic life. The College has launched a 4-year 124 credit Bachelor of Business Administration Program (BBA) with concentrations in Management, Marketing and Human Resources Management from Spring 2013, approved by the UAE’s Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research.

Required Qualifications:
-A Ph.D. degree with relevant specialization from recognized institutions of higher learning together with appropriate teaching and research experience is required for each position.
-For Marketing, preference will be given to candidates who possess dual expertise/academic preparation in management and marketing.
-Selected candidates will be required to join the college from September 2014.

Assistant Professors :

•     Ph.D or DBA in a relevant field from a recognized university

•     2-4 years of post-Ph.D. teaching and research experience at an institution of higher learning preferred

•     Evidence of research and scholarly activities such as publications in journals of international repute, conference papers and working series papers

•     Curriculum Development & Planning experience

•     Committee works and community services

Duties and Responsibilities:

• The primary responsibility of an assistant professor is to conduct assigned undergraduate and graduate courses and seminars. 
• Additionally, the assistant professor is to serve as academic advisor to students; serve on college committees; engage in scholarly activities, and/or creative endeavors which contribute to the academic mission of the College. 
• Where appropriate, the assistant professor is to participate in curriculum development activities; serve on graduate committees; supervise laboratories, independent study activities, and off-campus learning such as practicums and internships; and to render service to the professional or lay community which is relevant to the individual's academic specialty. 
• Perform such other related tasks and duties as assigned.
